Heart Health Screening

Who Needs Heart Screening?

You should consider screening if you are a male between the ages of 35 and 70 or a female between the ages of 40 and 70 and you have any of the following risk factors:

  • Family history of early heart disease
  • Smoking
  • Diabetes
  • Elevated Cholesterol
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Overweight
  • Sedentary Lifestyle
  • Uncontrolled Stress
  • Postmenopausal Women (who are not on estrogen replacement therapy)

The two types of CT-scan cardiac screening exams are:

Calcium Scoring: Detects the presence of calcium in the walls of your arteries, which is helpful in predicting heart disease.

Coronary CTA: Detects the presence and severity of blood vessel narrowing by providing detailed images of blood flow in the coronary arteries.

Contact your cardiologist to schedule a heart screening procedure or call 1-call 877-233-WELL (9355) for a consultation.

For more information or to make an appointment for a consultation call 1-877-233-WELL (9355).
